    Am I the only person who feels bad for the tecate/corona girls? They are forced to smile and just stand there getting stared at by tons of people. Not a comfortable situation.

    Ring Girls are different they are just in and out of the ring.

    It's just a piece of sexualized sexism we've all gotten used to. Stand there like an object and keep your parts in shape and you'll get paid.


    Anyways, I am also glad he's getting love from the Mexican peeps. Too long it seemed that they were neglecting him, but I'm sure they've finally been able to warm up to him after so many exciting fights. They're like swarming him up in there! I hope that positive energy helps motivate his training.

    Yea about time. I guess its safe to say hes out of Barreras and Morales' shadow. He was always my favorite of the 3. At 126 one of the best Ive ever seen.

    They're starting a HUGE global tour in August should JMM get past Ramos, which goes through Singapore, New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Mexico, Manila, and a bunch of other places.

    From what I've heard Marquez and Pacquiao will be recieved in Mexico City in the National Palace where the offices of the President of Mexico preside......its the equivalent of the White House in the United States.

    That I know of, the only boxer to be recieved in the Mexican National Palace was JC Chavez, right after his dismantling of Hector Camacho.

    The National Palace will be used to recieve and promote Marquez-Pacquiao, and I'm certain Manny Pacquiao will be recieved and treated like a King.


    Likewise when the promotional tour heads to the Phillipines, Arum is looking to have something similar done there that Mexico is doing for the promotion.
    I have no reason to believe Marquez wont be recieved likewise by the Pinoy boxing fan who according to Marquez himself have recieved him with great friendship everytime he's been there.:good

    Igor, Marquez knows that there are a great many Pinoy boxing fans that respect boxing and respect what he did against Pacquiao.
    When Marquez was down there a few years ago at a boxing event, calling Pacquiao out for a third fight. Droves of Pinoy boxing fans were walking up to him to get an autograph and telling him that he beat Manny.:D
