I mean who is this guy? he looks like **** in every fight I have seen him.:deal stepping up and getting beatup is all paulie has ever done in his career. Newsflash brooklyn don't expect much from this guy he is a glorified club fighter at best I would pick hatton over maliganggi and that is bad.:admin
imagine a fight on ppv hatton vs malignaggi they would start making love in the ring with all the holding they do.:deal
He has qualities. Certainly quick on his feet, quite elusive, a decent jab. Good chin. Holds a lot. Conversely, he throws his left/right combo with no weight behind. The straight right hand often looks more like a slap than a punch. Good footwork but tends to repeat the same patterns (that two-three-chacha step he does moving toward his left always anticipates the jab).
they are both atrocious but hatton would beat paulie he is just as quick and would smother paulie. if paulie had more than a jab then IO would pick him over hatton but he doesn't.
I am glad I am not the only person who sees this. paulie is very pedestrian and based on how he looked tonight he will get koed by a good boxer like kendall holt or junior witter. keep malignaggi away from those guys and let him fight the torress and urango's of the world and you can make some money off him.
I'd take Hatton, Witter, Holt, and Diaz over Malignaggi. I'd pick him over Torres (dangerous fight though), Urango, N'dou, Rees, and M'baye. I'd also like to see Vivian Harris against him The bottom line is that Paulie is a fast, talented fighter and a top 5-10 one at 140, but will never be considered elite. He's got limitations and vulnerabilities including a big, big lack of power.
Torress would beat the heck out of Holt, Malignaggi, Urango and possibly even Witter so whats your bias against him?
