Chonlathondamrongkun sounds like something Conor Benn would take...

Interesting name. I’m assuming that’s his real name and not his ring name. He should probably use a different name that rolls off the tongue easier.

Normally Thai fighters would use a different alias in the ring as opposed to their actual names, specifically the names of the gym that they train in.
Example:

Samart Payakaroon - Samart Tiptarmai
Pone Kingpetch - Mana Sridokbuab
Khaosai Galaxy - Sura Saenkham
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai - Wisaksil Wangek
Knockout CP Freshmart - Thammanoon Nyomtrong

 

"I wanna be a Freshmart!"

"The books are closed"

"I should've been made behind that KO two years ago!"

"They're not accepting new members."

 

Could it be the name of a sponsor or gym like some other Thai fighters?

Regardless, I hope his nick name is extremely long as well.

 

I'll call him "Dave" for short.
