Like you , most are just saying cotto but none have given a reason why they think cotto is stronger ..

Again it is unproven that cotto is stronger then floyd and it would be foolish to assume that he is .

It would be foolish to assume that he isn't. People here have given plenty of reasons why they think Cotto is stronger. Wtf are your reasons?

hatton was man handled on the inside , and floyd did what he wanted too on the inside including beating Hattons body at will ..
Again like the man said go look at the fight again and see who won the fight on the inside , even hatton admitted that floyd is allot stronger then he thought he was on the inside ..

please .. all the floyd hater have not given a reason they just simply state cotto .. like any floyd hater is going to tell the truth. :patsch

Iv given my reason you idiot .. cotto has not proven he is stronger the floyd in any of the common opponents they have faced. He has however proven he is a lot easer to hit then floyd.

Okay, he's proven he can be hit cleanly and cut by Judah (who also landed plenty of clean shots against Floyd) and still walk through it, bust him up, mow him down and stop him, something Floyd couldn't do. He's also held his own against bigger stronger and more talented opponents than Floyd has ever faced in Mosely and Margarito. End of story. :pwned

Although he's not as strong as Margarito, the answer to this one should be fairly obvious too.

Floyd's coming forward walking through punches now? Man, you nuthuggers are ridculous. Zab only landed like 80 punches in that fight, yet he was still able to win like 4 rds:verysad. But I guess you're right, it was an impressive show of amazing strength by Mayweather.:nut

Floyd is the better conditioned fighter, and in my opinion the stronger one.

Zab was competitive in four round and won only 3 , and yes floyd was able to walk forward on zab and not get hit or take punishment you goof , what part of that don't you understand..

or could it be you have never seen the fight or have any idea what your watching.

So do you also think that Joe Calzaghe is stronger than Bernard Hopkins?

The question isn't who would win a marathon or has more physical strength over a sustained period of time. It's who is physically stronger?

Once again, we're talking about physical strength here. How is not getting hit or taking punishment proof of physical strength? And my lasting impression of the fight, aside from the riot in the ring, was not Floyd coming forward, but rather him backing up in the 12th and goading Zab to come forward. You make it sound like Floyd stalked and pressured Zab for the entire fight, which is some bs revisionist history. Thankfully, we have videotape.

I don't really feel like I need an argument to say why Cotto is stronger than Mayweather because to me Cotto has just looked stronger than Floyd against his opponents. Some of the opponents they have in common is Corley, Sosa and Judah (not sure if I'm missing any...) In all three cases you can see Cotto being physically stronger than them and than what Mayweather was against them. Not as complicated as many people are making it out to be.
