    Aside from the obvious suspects...

Matt Skelton was very good at manhandling people in clinches. It was the cornerstone of his entire gameplan since he lacked in almost every other respect.

In terms of raw static strength, probably too many people to list. Rahman, McCline, Tua and Virchis spring to mind.

Rahman was very, very strong. Outmuscled Lewis without many problems.

Which tells you that strength was not everything.

Wow didn't think Walcott would show up in this thread, guess with his style he never really needed to use his physical strength

Oh yes saw that in a news article a while back, also saw a picture of him holding two men in the air tied to a rope he was holding with one hand i believe  And it was him in his later years if i'm not mistaken

It was more technique than strength. The moment can be seen on film. It lasts maybe 2 seconds, then Jeffries pushes Johnson off.

Strongest champs = Jeffries, Liston, Foreman, and Wlad.

Maskaev looked like he had some brute old school strength as well. He was able to hurt and knock down fighters with slow pushing arm punches, and just looked really physically solid in all his fights (not his jaw obviously). Didn't he used to be a miner or something?

Ustinov is reputedly really strong as well.

For his size Frazier was a very strong man.

He pushed Ali and 6'3 Buster Mathis around a lot. Even threw Ali off of the ropes at one point. I think it was in the FOTC?

Shane Mosley also looked pretty damn strong against Margarito. He was picking him up and pushing him back/around with ease.

Primo Carnera was one of the strongest of all time. 6'5 and 260 pounds. He used to push trains full of people.

That didn't didn't help him when he was knocked out by Joe Louis who was 65 pounds lighter.

What does physical size have to do with strength?

Johnson related that after the first round he knew he was a strong as Jeffries.

Fight reports confirm Johnson was Jeffries master in close . I'm happy to accept that Jeffries stamina, and endurance was diminished when he fought Johnson, I am less ready to accept that his strength was ,especially in the early rounds.
Jeffreis NEVER manhandled a decent sized heavyweight
Johnson did ,and men who were prime.

I think you will find that Johnson was smiling all through that fight,as he later said "I was enjoying myself in there"
