After doing middleweight and light heavyweight its now welterweights turn. I think Barney Ross, Napoles, Hearns and Griffith are very good contenders.

Griffith and Basilio. I think Ross and, to a lesser extent Napoles are not, in fact, very good contenders. They were Lightweights in reality.

How your middleweight and light heavy threads on this subject? Some poster said Nigel Benn was a far stronger middle than Hagler which I disagree with.

Benn was almost certainly stronger than Hagler, hagler may be stronger at his weight, but if they fought in the ring benn would be coming it at least 10 lbs heavier and Hagler next to none 3 lbs at most

Griffith and Walker. These should be ghe staple top two, IMO. After that I guess you could say Armstrong, Basilio, Cuevas, Walcott etc; are up there.

Duran was pretty powerful at welter. I would have to add Palomino as well. I think Basilio, Griffith, and Hearns are the best mentions though.

But Hagler`s biceps looked huge, maybe it was his thin legs and thin waist which accounted for his light weight.

Additionally, you can without a doubt be stronger than someone while being lighter

Them thin legs would have affected his strength main part of pushing someone off tbh, you have to have a solid stability when using your strength in the ring to keep yourself in place and you also need to push from your legs to push people back
