I thought it was the big toe, which would have been a real problem because you need it for walking and balance. The picture shows the little toe though. I don't know if it really gave him serious issues or it was just excuses.
It's clear that toe cost him the title. Damn. I wonder if that toe also was the reason he ran for all 12rounds?
That might be true is he didn't take a shot, which he did. As far as power pushing off, that comes from the other toes primarily so it wasn't that big of a loss. I was fooled, had no clue he hurt his lil pnky toe. Roy gave him **** for showing the camera his toe lol.
Of couse theres a picture...no excuse is complete without one. Tommorrow there will be a pic of him in a hospital bed giving a thumbs up.
if this means we may get vitali-haye, fine with me, he had a broken toe. don't want to see him fight wlad again though
Exactly. And by taking his shoe off and saying well I was injured all along, was basically a big f@ck you to the fans and boxing.
You may be right. Vitali-Haye sounds more intriguing. But I wouldn't mind a rematch. I just hope Haye is 100% if this broken toe is a legit excuse. But like shimmy said, he probably broke it with all the diving he did.
He looked just fine prancing about in the ring...the problem wasn't his toe, it was his balls that had the problem. Lack of Testicular Fortitude cost him the ko he thought he'd get, not a broken toe.
