This fight in this post appears to be the correct fight - I can faintly hear the ring announcer saying both fighters names at the end.

The other fight you posted ends in a draw (the ref raises both fighters' hands @ the end). Since Pichit doesn't have any draws on his boxrec record, the only way that could be him is if either that decision was changed after the broadcast ended (due to an error in a scorecard) or he has other fights that aren't included on boxrec.

That's what I figured when I watched it closely. I'm curious who the other fighters are from the first video.

Watching the Pichit vs Zepeda fight in full I felt Zepeda really took it to Pichit at the final rounds of the fight when he badly hurt him, and it looked like Zepeda was about to stop him. Pichit really seemed to have benefited from the hometown referee not stopping the fight and the judges being in his favor. It looked like Zepeda won that fight and was even requesting for a rematch which Pichit didn't accept and it was clear why.

The fact that Pichit went life and death with a fighter like Zepeda gives you a good indicator of his limitations despite retiring with an unbeaten record.

Recently I reviewed Pichit Sithbanprachan I can assure you that he is enormously underrated I have rarely seen such power. These opponents have all lost their primes by meeting him in the ring.

The 2nd bout you posted is the correct one. The first fight is Suvatchai Chalermsri vs Everardo Morales, it ended in a draw and was for Chalermsri's WBU Super Flyweight title. A very obscure one to say the least, not sure how the poster got confused between the 2.

Just got around to watching this. Excellent fight. Pichit started strong but Johnson had a better finish and even gave the champ a cut. It was only Arthur Johnson's 9th fight and he managed to almost take the title from Pichit. Had he won he would have made history of being the first African American to win a world title at Flyweight (that moment would instead go to Mark Johsnon who would also knockout Arthur Johnson in the first round).

Pichit would end up fighting Zepeda after that fight. That's two back-to-back wars that he went through. It would have been interesting to have seen him face Yuri Arbachakov while they were both champs.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Appreciate your videos by the way! Perhaps we might see a highlight video of Pichit Sithbanprachan from you in the near future.
