Bryd/Williamson Hopkins/Dawson I Ward/Kessler I do not want more boxing fans, we have enough dumb ones as is.
Tyson vs Holyfield 1 is one of Tyson's worst fights and one of Holyfield's worst fights. It's historically important, but way down the list in terms of excitement. If you want to show a historically important heavyweight fight between two icons you go with Ali-Frazier 1 and 3. If you want great Holyfield you go to Bowe, Qawi, or Cooper. You could just show the short early Tyson fights where he knocks people out in a round or two. Show a bunch of them to get people pumped up: Frazier, Bruno, Berbick, Holmes, Tillman, Spinks. But I wouldn't show newbies Tyson-Holyfield with all that clinching any more than I'd show them a Mayweather fight. You could turn 'em off boxing for good and then get an earful about how much better mma is. See, Mirko knows first impressions matter. Those two matches were sport killers. After a casual sees them, they don't want to see anything ever again.
