    Wlad Klit
Tim Bradley (stab in the dark with this one, but if he beats alexander and khan hes gonna be knocking the door)

Beating Khan and Alexander would do a hell of a lot for Bradley, but I totally agree that if we're talking about making him an ATG, that's just silly. He would have to beat both, and also beat Ortiz and Maidana, become the undisputed 'man' at 140 (which is a pretty stacked division atm), and then go up to WW and do something there in order for us to start talking ATG.

Cotto is one win away from being an all time great?

He's been destoyed in arguably the only two real elite fights he's ever had?!

You're just trying to hype up Pacquiao opponents. He's nowhere near Marquez on any list

    :lol::patsch

Tims good but he will not become one of the greatest fighters of all time by merely beating those two.

If you notice, the author didn't include Floyd in his current all time great list either.

*******s just shouldn't be taken seriously.

If they have no respect for anyone who's not somehow involved with Pacquiao , they should be ignored

Marquez bordeline outclassed Pacquiao, and the only reason he never got a win, is a mixture of dodgy judging, and Pacquiao wimping out of a 3rd fight

Cotto got destroyed by the same fighter

He would basically have to do a bernard Hopkins, which is beat those two and have a dominant reign at his weight 15 defenses possibly.

He does not neccesarily have to move up in weight either.

khan has potential but his chin lets him down and he plans to retire in a few years so no chance.

    Stop talking such Pacland trash

I can't wait for the guy to retire, so you can all go back to watching WWE

Marquez is a 3 weight world champion, with a draw against a peak Pacquiao on his resume, a win over Barrera, Juan Diaz, Casamayor.

What's more, 99% of the planet consider the fact that he has 2 legit wins over Pacquiao, and was a much better Super Featherweight than Manny.

What's more, he's owned 2-3 divisions. What's more, the only reason his resume isn't more packed as he's one of the most ducked fighters in the history of boxing.

Cotto nearly lost to Miguel Torres.
    Got whupped by Margarito
    Got whupped by Pacquiao
    Nearly lost to Clottey

Other than that, he has a close win over Mosely, and a win over an old Zab Judah on his resume.

    It's not even close argument.

Marquez is a hall of famer. Cotto isn't

    Cotto's nowhere near Winky Wright.

The guy dominated 154 for years, and has a peak Mosely and a peak Trinindad on his record.

Bearing in mind the author wasn't even brave enough to swallow his pride and put Mayweather as an obvious All Time Great, I think we need to take some of this with a pinch of salt.

Cotto's probably there for no other reason than he's lost to Manny Pacquiao.

The guy's career wins are probably an old Judah, and a close win over Shane. He's never been the linear champ in any division. He's never beaten the linear champ in any division. And he's arguably lost or come close to losing most of the bigger fights he's ever had at 147.

Cotto will be scrapping to even be considered for the Hall of Fame. I doubt he'll get in there. So let's stop all of this stupid talk about him ever being an all time great.

Your obvious all time greats of fighters who are still fighting, or recently retired are probably

1: Oscar de la Hoya (even his actual wins trump most other fighters careers. Never mind wins he was screwed out of)

2: Mayweather (need to have a bit more class, and just accept that he's been the dominant guy of his era)

    3: Pacquiao (ditto)

4: Hopkins (probably there on his 160 exploits alone. But his 175 bouts secured it)

5: Roy Jones (the guy may well be remembered as the greatest of all this list, when the dust and hype settles. As great as Mayweather and Manny are, they've never beaten anyone like a peak James Toney, or dominated multiple divisions like Roy did, or done something historic like winning heavyweight titles from middleweight (only 2nd person in the history of boxing)

Guys who maybe have a bit more to do, but will probably end up there:

1: Marquez (dominated a few divisions, big wins, and will be remembered for owning Pacquiao)

2: Mosely ( one of the best lightweights of all time anyway. Went on to beat a peak de la hoya twice, and a peak Margarito at multiple weights)

Guys with potential to one day get there:

1: Tim Bradley - (26 years of age, and already has a great resume. If he beats Alexander, he moves up to the very elite level of PFP consideration)

2: Paul Williams (needs a lot more wins, but is on the right track)

3: Andre Ward (ditto, but he looks borderline unbeatable at 168)

I don't buy the case for Wlad at all. He'll get respect as good champ, but it's impossible to argue that he's even the best his his era. He'd never beat Vitali.

The tough fact is, his career win will probably be someone like Chagaev, who even John Ruiz nearly beat.

Wlad had a lot of problems when the division was plain average. He only really started to dominate when it went to plain awful.

Guys like Haye and Adamek, are showing how plain easy it is to beat guys like Arreloa, Valuev and the types of challengers Wlad has made a career facing

Cotto's struggled in a lot of fights. One's he's won and lost.

He barely got past Torres remember.
