    Why even bother.

They'll hype someone on Floyd's resume like Judah or Baldomir being more worthy of being in the HoF than Cotto.

Yeah, I'm no longer going back and forth with you, Warrior. I actually agree with the consensus that Juan Manuel Marquez is a greater fighter than Miguel Cotto, but whenever I bring up the issue of resume you want to talk about the Ring Belt. This is exhausting.

I will be quite surprised if Andre Ward doesn't end his career in the HoF and top 100 ATG consensus.

Williams should find himself there as well if he keeps fighting with consistency against big names. He will lose another fight at some point, but he is so big, awkward and has such a high work rate that he gives everyone a lot of trouble and should bag some quality wins.

We've already been through this. JMM is clearly better.

Also you don't just go by resume you also have to consider the fighters skill, other question also has to arise, has he dominated any divisions.

In the ring how impressive was he, compared to over great fighters at that weight class past and present.

Cotto has a good resume, but you need more than that to get into the hall of fame let alone being considered an all time great.

Instead of going for Pacquiao or Cotto or the obvious picks I'll choose from the current rising stars.

    In no order:

    Yuriorkis Gamboa
    Juan Manuel Lopez
Jean Pascal (if he beats B-Hop)
    Sergio Martinez
    Guillermo Rigondeaux

But then again a lot can happen in a few years...

    Marquez's five best wins.

    - Old Barrera (Past prime, retired the same year)
    - Old Casamayor (Past prime, post Cruz and Katsidis war)
    - Juan Diaz
    - Manuel Medina
    - Derrick Gainer

    Cotto's five best wins.

    - Shane Mosley (past prime, but would go on to decimate Margarito)
    - Joshua Clottey
    - Paulie Malignaggi (Holds a victory over Juan Diaz, undefeated at the time)
    - Carlos Quintana (Only man to beat Paul Williams, undefeated at the time)
    - Zab Judah (Past prime)

I don't see any clear distinction between these resumes.

I know it not about whose better. When i said Marquez is clearly better, i was commenting on his resume.
