Tommy the hat - Arguello couldnt make it past 140 & we are talking about fighters jumping straight from 130-147, the 130 lb version of AA wouldnt big big enough physically.

Minotauro - thread starter asked us not to say Armstrong

Thunder 06 - Benny Leonard was a LWT, not SFWT or FWT, otherwise I would have choose Duran.

Divac - I think the thread starter meant fighters jumping from 130 straight to 147 without taking time to fill into the weight, so the 36 yr old WWT DLH would be much too big for a Mayweather tha has no probs making 130.

    Glad to help out.

I stated as much in my post.....Mayweather imo could jump straight out of 130, and weigh between 140 to 143, and beat the crap out of this current version of DLH who is going to struggle to make 147 lbs.
......and imo, that Mayweather jumping straight out of 130 lbs would easily handle DLH at 147 lbs.

.....at the time Mayweather fought DLH at 154 lbs, he was'nt even a bonafide Welter, he could easily make 140 lbs without a problem and possibly 135 lbs......

There is'nt a shred of doubt in my mind that the Mayweather that fought at 130 lbs, could jump straight from that weight and dominate a dehydrated DLH.......
Imo in this scenario, Mayweather KTFO DLH in round 10, and in brutal fashion!!!

Oh are we talking making a jump STRAIGHT from 130?

In that case, I pretty much answer, nobody.

Mayweather jumped out of 130 twice to fight ok or better fighters, once to face Augustus and once to face Castillo - and both times he looked like crap.

Sure, he had been off for a while and probably didn't train to take Augustus seriously, and he got injured in the first Castillo fight, but nevertheless, we're not talking about him facing a C level lightweight or even a B+ level lightweight, we're talking about him facing a B level WELTERWEIGHT (which is what I'd assume Oscar is at this stage). Unless Oscar is WAY drained, and fights considerably worse than he has in recent years, I don't see an 130 pound Mayweather making the jump and toppling him.
