    No matter.
There's always Reggie Gross, Carl Williams, Alex Stewert, to take their places...

I think Tarver could outlast Biggs. Not that much separating them physically but Tarver has an ATG chin, basically.

Hopkins might do a second rate impersonation of Holy and last long enough. It's only four rounds.

Keep in mind that Spinks was throwing with Tyson, not spoiling. Granted it's easier said than done.

    They weren't.
If you go back and look at Azzers post you will see that was the point, they were of equal size to tyson and they couldn't survive a round, never mind a light heavyweight...

I think going with a classic standup boxer like Tunney would end hastily. Better to go as light and small, as fast and unpredictable as possible... and then maybe you get a few more rounds in...

That's sounds like a plan but still, Tyson was pretty good at cutting off a ring and there's still his fast hand speed so there will have to be quite a few times that you will have to clinch and hold onto him and I doubt if there are many light heavyweight fights that are strong enough to do that.

Archie Moore might be a better choice. Clever and strong as hell. Tyson could get pretty compliant to his opponent's will in the clinch.

Marty Marshall lasted a bunch of rounds against Liston. Tyson might "chite a brick" if Marshall broke his jaw too.

Harold Johnson was one of those "tweeners" and fought some fights up at the 50's version of heavyweight.
