. . . .include any boxer who fought a number of their fights under and could make that weight like Joe Frazier and Joe Louis.

    My tournamnet would include

    Rocky Marciano
    Jack Dempsey
    Evander Holyfield
    Roy Jones Jr.
    Oleksandr Usyk
    Gene Tunney

    plus Frazier and Louis

(Please, please, please to be credible do not include David "My-Toe-Hurts" Haye.)

Not sure how we could have some of those names there without a Charles or Walcott. Frazier and Louis were generally above 200, not below.

Dang guys. . . . you would have to expand to 16 names then and include Ezzard Charles, Floyd Patterson, Jerry Quarry, Michael Spinks, Dwight Muhammad Qawi etc.

both Joe Louis and Joe Frazier fought many fights under 200 lbs. and could have easily continued to make that weight if in present day.

Actually a lot of great heavyweights could make 200lb limit in their prime. Especially if they had to. Ali was 201lb in 1966. Joe Louis was 199lb for pre war title fights. Even Larry Holmes was 207 for Norton. A jog round the block he could make it.

George Foreman is about the best ATG heavyweight who probably could not have made 200lb. With 24 hour weigh in George could be 220 like he was for Frazier.

So most probably You could include all the heavyweights champions of the last century apart from Lewis, Bowe, Willard and Carnera.

If we exclude Lewis, Bowe, Willard and Carnera we can include all of last centuries heavyweight champions with a 24 hour weigh in. If that’s the case I see maybe Ali, Louis or Larry Winning an enormous tournament. Those three had the best combination of longevity and class and are more likely to win enough hard fights in a row to get there.

Without a 24 hour weigh in I would expect Marciano and Louis final. Dempsey and Johnson could make the final 4.

Yeah, but within what cruiserweights typically weigh in at if they don't need to make weight. It's debatable, Opie included Frazier so I went with around his standard.

For fighters that have actually weighed in for a fight below 200lbs before:

    Jack Johnson
    Joe Louis
    Ezzard Charles
    Joe Frazier
    Rocky Marciano
    Evander Holyfield
    Jack Dempsey
    Joe Walcott

Louis or Frazier emerging as the most likely winners
