    Ok. Same here.

He was lower top 10 when he met Golovkin, no? That's quality, no doubt. But he's not world class. World class fighters clearly beat even a younger Abrams and a world class fighter would have beaten that version of Martinez, probably in emphatic fashion. I think he showed his level in narrow losses to those men.

Jacobs seems to me as the first bonafide world class MW Golovkin has fought. Canelo will be the next.

You never watched the fight, did you?

You're utterly useless. A pathetic fraud that pretends to understand things but that in fact can't understand the contents of a soup can. Your opinion is worth the unwiped backside of a tramp.

The only confidant you have is your mother ... and Herol.

    Who is Murrary?

I think he's comparable to Taylor. Granted Martinez was getting a bit long in the tooth when MM fought him so if you say a prime Martinez > MM I could agree with that. I think he should have pipped Sturm. IMO Murray is borderline world class.

I was very impressed by the version of Jacobs that showed up against Golovkin. If he can maintain that level he will do great things, and may well get his revenge of Golovkin yet. It remains to be seen whether that was a one-hit wonder or whether Jacobs is truly coming into his own.

A half shot Martinez beat Murray so a prime Martinez was of course much better. How you can use losses to claim that he's a world class fighter I still don't understand other than as a way to build Golovkin's case tbh.

Haven't watched Taylor apart from the Hopkins fights, but by becoming champion and defending his titles several times he clearly achieved a lot more than Murray has. Actually even the draw to Winky is a better result than any of Murray's. At SMW he wasn't as successful, but we're discussing MW here.

Anyway, if one is looking to have an open discussion as opposed to just trying to make a case for one's favorite fighter there's really no reason to bring up Taylor. The 40-year old Hopkins he beat was clearly some way from the best version. Any neutral is quite aware of this.

Well Murray showed a lot of grit and arguably won against Martinez and imho was robbed against Sturm. The fight vs Abraham was pretty close, not a lot separating them. I think that even a loss can indicate the general level of a fighter, and MM is pretty good.

Other than that, a fair post ^

That's because your post was worthless and related to boxing in another universe where everything is ass backwards to this one. I'm talking about this universe.

You can't get banned again soon enough.

Cotto moving up in a weight he had no business in didn't 'arguably win' . He obliterated Martinez in a fight that could have been waved off after only a few rounds.
Thats the same Martinez that Murray LOST to.

Murray is not even Euro level , never mind 'bordering on world class'. He's an average domestic level fighter and everybody knows it. ydksab

Cotto fought the worst version of Martinez ever to fight; he was practically a cripple. Any decent boxer would have obliterated him that day and I include Murray in that list.

    Clearly, you DKSAB.
