Heaney blew me away that night with his desire and will to win. Then his excitement when he won, throwing himself on the canvas and pounding the floor with his hands & feet was just a joy to watch. Leigh Wood deserves a mention, great comeback KO against Warrington. Lost, regained, defended, he's fighter of the year IMO.
His fight with Robert Smith was epic, Benn throws the kitchen sink relentlessly from the opening bell, Smith ducks and slips Benn's wild haymakers, covers up and displays some fine rope-a-dope skills, he then fires back with a well timed 'no licence for you son' upper cut stopping Benn in his tracks. Despite the crowd telling his corner to throw in the towel, his head trainer Hearn won't do it and urges Benn to carry on regardless.
