So as I said, Dougla whole KO resume ends with Tyson. Meanwhile Ali stopped Liston, Foreman, Bonavena, Lyle, Ellis and Quarry - most of them were more durable than Tyson.

Foreman, Liston and Bonavena without any doubt were. They weren't stopped as often, even past prime despite facing the most powerful fighters of their era (Foreman actually fought Tyson against competition when he was 40+).

Why wouldn't Tyson tire a bit after 11 rounds of fending off a 6'4 233 pound guy who didn't come to win and hugged all night. He still wasn't exactly the epitome of a KO waiting to happen that's for sure. Tyson still had loads of life left in his legs and if Smith wasn't fighting so negatively he would have punched more obviously. After going hard early he won the fight in cruise control. How many rounds did you give to Bonehugger Smith?

Smith rocked Tyson in the last 10 seconds and he only let his hands go because he knew the bell was about to ring and he was safe. Little wonder it caught Mike off guard after Smith had done so little for so long. It would have near put him to sleep.

You are right in that Smith would have been well suited in the ring with the likes of the Baer's and co.

It was 'easy' for a 6'4 Bonecrusher with 82 inch reach to tie up Tyson because of his advantage in arm length. It wouldn't be anywhere near as easy for a 6'0 Johnson to tie up Tyson. He wouldn't have the reach/height to offset getting hit before he was able to clinch.

Also Johnson doesn't benefit from clinching Tyson because Johnson is the lighter man. The lighter man suffers from the heavier man laying on him. Is Tyson able to attempt to break Johnson's arms like he did with Botha in 1900s boxing?

This video proves that Max Baer would have stopped Mike Tyson on June 27, 1988.

Yes, he stopped them because he was much better fighter than Douglas.

I know that, I'm just pointing out that clinching had success against Tyson.

Holyfield didn't have any problems with tying Tyson up either and he was far from a giant.
I mean, Johnson was 208 lbs in his peak performance. Tyson got manhandled by Holyfield who weighed 215 lbs (while him being 222 lbs). Johnson wasn't small like you make him here and he was very powerful man, who knew how to use this strength. He outmuscled 230 lbs Jeffries who was known for his wrestling abilities.

Tyson could try these dirty tricks to Johnson, he dealt with worse things than that in his career.

Tyson could be tied up for sure but i'm not sure barely winning a round in a 12 round fight equals success unless we say well he didn't get KO'd like most did. The guy got whooped on the cards.

This discussion came from the statement that Tyson fought much better big men and he'd knock out all "oaf" that Louis fought much quicker than Joe. I just pointed out that he couldn't stop Smith, that's it.

Then I also mentioned it to show that Tyson could be neutralized to an excent with clinching and Jack Johnson could do far more damage in clinches than Smith.

To be fair the big guys that fought Joe would not have been as effectiveness at clinching as Hugger was that night against Tyson. Also fair would be to say those guys would have put themselves on the line and actually tried their best to win.

Yeah, probably. I can't see Buddy Baer not trying to KO Tyson. He was a very courageous man, he would slug with anybody!
