    I view him as a more skilled, but less athletic Abe Simon.

    I agree, he was more powerful puncher but worse fighter overall.

    Some say that Buddy Baer was the Lennox Lewis of the 1940's and others say that Abe Simon was the Anthony Joshua of the 1940s or should I say that AJ is the Abe Simon of the 2010s?

    I know you don't want to believe it, but 'tis be true.

    Who did Douglas stop that you see him as more powerful than Ali? Ali stopped a lot of durable fighters, Douglas entire KO resume ends with Tyson.

    Now that you mention it I can see the staggering similarities. Galento reminds me a hell of a lot of Wilder as well.
