Pick the next fighter u think can be Lineal champ in 2 weight classes, Same time??

I don't think it will ever be done, not because nobody is good enough to achieve this but because you will be stripped by the governing bodies. Mayweather is allowed to fight in as many divisions as he likes and not be stripped as he is a star and pays huge sanctioning fees. If someone like Rigo or Ward tried this they would be stripped unless they done it inside a year. I think Ward has the capabilities to do this but he doesn't fight often enough and doesn't generate much interest unfortunately.

If Floyd does take the MW strap from Cotto it would be a great achievement to be lineal champ in 3 weight classes. I would rather see him fight someone new like Thurman, even Khan wouldn't be too bad.

If JMM at 41, Khan, Maidana, ALgieri are good enough for PAC then I'm afraid Cotto at 160 is fine for Floyd.

 

lineal is overrated...if the wbc wont enforce the mandatory then it means nothing.

what does it matter this lineal stuff if they have this catchweight thing? Catchweight means lets get a guy who is not at that weight a chance to win the title. Titles mean nothing today.

 

get rid of catchweights and have weigh ins the day of the fight and make the titles important again.
