Cotto, Mosley, Williams, Pac all have a chance. Floyd doesn't want to get in the ring with at least half of them, so what does that tell you? He hasn't even fought a real welter yet.

Paul Williams! Has alot of physical advantages over PBF. He would make PBF fight at a faster pace!

The best thing for you is to not comment on things you don't know! Your an established Paul Williams hater so your comments don't count!

If Del la Hoya was able to take PBF to a SD then I know PW would win by UD! Oscar was able to put pressure on PBF early in the fight which kept PBF on his heels! If Oscar didn't run out of gas in the 6th we may be having a different convo right now!!

PW would bring more pressure, better defense, more power and more hunger to PBF! Floyd would not be able to rest the whole fight and pot shot as he's so a custom too!

The question is if floyd is willing to fight a fighter that can beat him. Floyd is a great fighter with the best fighting skill right now- bar none but he seems to be avoiding the top fighters of his division. It has been bugging fight fans now why floyd isn't doing any move to shut people up by actually fighting top WW fighters, he only made them suspect more by fighting marquez in his comeback fight. I hope that his next move will make boxing fans happy. Time for him to prove his greatness by action and I know he is very capable but he has to take risks.

Williams would beat him pretty comfortably imo. FMJ will counter effcetively early couple of rounds, then Williams will simply walk through him or stand off and fire straight shots. Floyd does not have the workrate to beat Williams and would not be able to just pot shot his way to a win.
Williams also throws in HUGE combo's, most of Mayweathers opponents dont throw more than a couple of punches at a time, get countered and then lose heart... no such thing would happen with Paul, he'll keep coming until the final bell or he's stopped, which aint gonna happen, he's tough as hell, well conditioned, solid chin and hungry to prove himself. Mayweather has shown that he can be beaten by someone with a half decent game plan and a solid quick snappy jab... Williams has that and can throw it almost a foot longer than Floyd, so he'd have to take the fight inside, where imo Williams is very good and used to fighting.

I think floyd has a great chance of beating Pwill but the problem is if floyd is willing to take the risk cause Pwill will surely present floyd a very different problem from the one given by hoya. Pwill is taller and he give punches in volumes while floyd will be shoulder rolling while picking his shots. A very interesting fight but then again, is floyd willing to take the risk?

I say floyd has the skills to beat williams but only if he takes risks.
