    debuts

I think I may have come across some old record of some 30s guys or some such that had more debuts, but I can't think of one right off hand.

Who has fought the most debuts?

Surely Lamar Clarke, won his first fight on points, the next 41 by KO, none of his opponents with a winning record, lost to his first live opponent, lost to Rademacher, beat another losing record boxer and bowed out with a loss to Cassius Clay.

Ernie Shavers! Didn't even make it out of his 3rd fight before losing. He had ZERO names besides Stander in his 14th fight which he lost, up until his 45th fight which was Jimmy Young.

Ron Stander is his sole name in 40 fights....went on to lose 8 fights in 5 years from the time he fought Shavers.
