Calzaghe vs Dawson is also a good fight, but will it happen?, doubtful. The next fight on the list is Clinton Woods, and as a fan of Woods I like the fight but still can't give Woods any chance here. Where's the threat?, I don't see any threats so far so please show me. Calzaghe and "threats" don't really match, you should know better as a Calzaghe fan.

Dawson is the only real threat out of anyone in the weight realm, but I can easily see the fight being made after Calzaghe settles into LHW, by that time the money will be there for both guys.

Hopkins vs. Calzaghe is worthless, if it's made, I will not make Hopkins out to be a good win because it'll be a slaughter and I detest the fight.

Calzaghe vs. Woods isn't a challenge per say, but it's a fresh fighter who's very solid at LHW and an addition to anyone's resume, Joe fighting him to pick up a belt and settle into LHW is very solid.

    Same if Calzgahe/Erdei was made.

That's about it, unless he wants to rematch Kessler, everyone else is below his level far too much to present a challenge.

Well in my opinion the Hopkins fight isn't worthless, but can't blame anyone for thinking so since Hopkins is 42 years old. A win over Hopkins would definitely be bigger than a win over Woods, by far too which won't happen anyway. We'll see if the Dawson fight will happen or he'll go back to beatings bums till he's retired this time.

Aside from Kessler, Lacy and Eubank.

Are Reid, Woodhall, Mitchell, Veit, Brewer, Sheika & Bika really classified as 'bums'? Or simply 'B levels'?

If any of those guys were one of Hopkins' opponents, they'd always get a mention in his list of 'solid wins' along with Holmes, Allen and Echols level guys.

After watching Peter's last three fights, I believe he is bereft of skills, has little ring generalship and has a less than stellar chin.

    Definitely overrated.

Puh-leez!! :patsch Ruiz is a CLASSIC example of an over-rated fighter, who did NOTHING to "earn" a ranking other than sign with Don King. In fact, he is probably the WORST example of how a fighter with shockingly LIMITED ability attains a far higher status than his minimal talents warrant, based on corruption and cheating! :nod
