I want and expect Wilder to win. Not because I am a fan but because at least he's a clean fighter and I want to see Joshua KO Wilder if Wilder ever mans up and agrees. I'd laugh if Wilder was KO'ed though.
I wanna see a career ending KNOCKOUT there. And see fighting Ortiz the winner of Joshua/Parker next. That's my side.
Said it before saying it again I have Ortiz knocking wilder out The Alabama glass is getting smashed imo This content is protected
Hard for me to pick a favorite based on who I want to win in this case. Both of these guys have their up and downsides. As Ortiz seems to be willing to step in with anyone and doesn't seem like he's going to ask for a fortune in a possible unification with the Joshua vs Parker winner, but has 2 doping violations and seems to be long in the tooth. Wilder on the other hand always seemed very reluctant to fight top names and will likely put up a lot of roadblocks on his way to unification, trying to cash out certainly if Joshua beats Parker like expected. His upside is that he's an American with a very high KO percentage and quite a bit younger as Ortiz. Who I think will win is Ortiz, just because Wilder kept fighting guys that didn't bring much, and still he didn't always look good against them. His punch has bailed him out a couple of times, against guys that weren't all that. If Ortiz gets these chances, I don't think he'll let Wilder off the hook.
I am so unreal pumped for this fight. I count those minutes down...have to take a nap tomorrow in the afternoon to be ready for a long boxing evening/night...
I want and expect Ortiz to win, and it's ludicrous how dismissed he's getting against a man with such obvious flaws as Wilder. I predict (and I don't mind going out on a limb here) that Ortiz will destroy Wilder and make it look easy, and a whole load of people will suddenly do U-turns in an effort to avoid egg dripping ever further down their faces. If Wilder does win, and convincingly, then it'll finally legitimise him, and you could bake an entire omelette on my face for all I care.
I want Ortiz to win. That said, if Wilder has trained properly and has a proper game plan - ie, stick and move - he has the youth and dimensions to outbox Ortiz. However I think Wilder will come in puffed up and try to slug with Gramps Ortiz, and get KTFO. The forums will be hilarious if that occurs.
