You just said Ortiz is gonna smash him, but now it’s a fight either man can win? Looooooooooool Charles Martin????? GTFOH if Wilder had beaten him you would have said he is a bum, which he was no doubt about that. Ortiz is the best name wilder could fight right now and he is fighting him as a voluntary.
Wilder Got to suooort the “Dirty South” plus Ortiz is a fun guy but his longevity is in question so Wilder. Wilder VS AJ will be fun if it happens next
Want to win? Completely neutral on this one. Ortiz has no future if he wins given his age and decline, and Deontay is a knock out waiting to happen. Who will win? Wilder will land flush and finish him before the 8th.
hmm, funny init. How Wilder fans tend to be those who know something and the Wilder haters are exclusively opinion based posters. Ortiz will lose, you even know he's going to lose. I don't understand the let's be wrong every time game. Y'all been wrong since 2011. You don't have a single academic post to your name. Why are you more than a joke looking for a circlejerk from the other jokes?
Ortiz wins I think he has enough in the tank to go hard with Joshua if the fight is made quickly. The dude is still fresh in fight terms, not just fights but camps and hard sparring. I'm going on the supposition he is 38 and not mid 40s.
Ortiz. I'd like to see Wilder getting knocked out, and I'd like to see Ortiz get a nice payday, if only for his family. And I want to see Wilder knocked out. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen. Anyway, it's gonna be a nice weekend for boxing fans.
Want and think Ortiz. -Ortiz was genuinely avoided by Joshua. Waited for a year, WBA was going to force purse bid. If Hearn didn't organize the fight prior, as he had signed both, then I think Joshua wanted nothing to do with Ortiz. - Wilder looked confused and uncomfortable against Szpilka. Ortiz is a southpaw who is 2 levels above Szpilka. - Ortiz is a huge step up for Wilder regardless of age. I classify the best heavyweights in 3 tiers. Ortiz is in tier 1, but Wilder has only ever fought tier 3 fighters, never a tier 1 or 2. - Most of Wilders title defense opponents have been beaten in better fashion by tier 1 and 2 fighters. Joshua and Breazeale smashed Molina, Jennings and Kownacki destroyed Szpilka, Povetkin iced Duhuapas, Miller gobbled up Washington. His other 2 opponents, a shot Stiverne and Arreola, were in the tier below Breazeale, Miller, Jennings, Ruiz Jr, he hasn't been fighting the best American heavyweights let alone a top world level fighter like Ortiz. - Why Ortiz? In his whole career, I've only ever seen him lose 1-2 rounds vs Jennings, he's literally won every other round in his whole pro career, brilliant technical fighter. Never seen him down, hurt, or even ruffled by a solid punch, he's a rough Cuban and tough as a coffin nail. Did I mention he's a crafty as hell Southpaw, solid on the front and back foot, excellent defense with a lot of power and unforgiving counter punching? - I just can't see any of Wilders strengths giving Ortiz much trouble, whilst Ortiz's strengths are going to give Wilder a boxing lesson. Wilder to win the first round, maybe the second, then he'll fade badly before Ortiz starts to dominate and gets him out of there in the mid rounds.
I want Luis Ortiz to win. But sadly, I think the younger, taller man with home advantage will win. I'm sure the officials will be helping Wilder if needed.
