I throw alot of hypotheticals out there on this board...I love it! It makes for very intesting reading...It made me wonder how everyone breaks down a fight...whether it's a hypothetical involving two ATG's or an upcoming fight. What factors into your decision to pick a winner?
Here are some variables. (not in order)
    Size
    Strength
    Reach
    Speed
    Defense
    Durability
    Footwork (offense/defense)
    Experience
    Inside Fighting
    Body Punching
    Counter Punching
    Punching Accuracy
    Ring Generalship
    Determination/Heart
    Stamina
    Combination Punching
    Individual punches rated on effectiveness/power
    Jab
    Right/Left cross
    Left/Right Hook
    Uppercut
    Coordination/Agility
    Adaptability
    Ring IQ

Do you have any other factors? What are the most important aspects in our judgement? All are important and each in it's way can weight heavily on an outcome...
But if I had to choose certain aspects only, I'd emphasize speed, defense, durability, jab, determination, footwork, stamina, combination punching, and Ring IQ...Those epitomize the 'sweet science', in my view...What do you place an emphasis on? Maybe something entirely different in regards to variables?
How do you breakdown a match-up, and what do you look for?

    Styles.

Size, too, but it's really only ever a determining factor when talking about heavyweights.
