Thanks Quincy. That is always a possibility, but if Manny Pacquiao can get robbed against Bradley then Pauly can get a decision against Broner.
I wrote on the covers forum that Bradley was going to get a fair shake against paq because top rank was grooming tim to be their next star. that's the complete opposite here. the chances of gbp allowing broner to get robbed here is very slim. I like you place at face value but when you take into consideration the motives of gbp the chances of your play hitting is not good.
I am a die hard boxing fanatic...also very unbiased...I disect fights/fighters...I've watched Paulies career progress...he doesn't have the tools to beat Broner...Paulie's main weapon the constant jab is his only hope that and his movement...the best fighter he has beat is Diaz, maybe edner cherry, but he was pretty much done as far as his career goes, he has the far better resume yes, but he's lost to every top fighter he's faced... Seeing you're picking Paulie you're gonna be surprised how easy Broner beats this guy...take away/counter paulies jab and cut the ring off...easy work...
I don't think Bradley won that fight and if you think he won then my friend I think by know you now you are in a very small minority. I am not sure I agree with you about TR grooming Bradley as he IMO has really no marketability. Why would you kill a PAC vs May fight to groom a fighter with such a weak following I mean the guy couldn't fill a venue in his own backyard at least not per PAC. After all the backlash after the decision it's not helping matters.
And whose the best fighter AB has ever beat? Pauly has lost to the best in their prime. We can't say AB is in the league of any of those guys that PM lost to and maybe he is and he will show it but he hasn't proven anything to me being lead on the Andre Berto route. You can absolutely beat a fighter with a good jab and movement. So what's your prediction for this fight? When you say **** like easy work and YDKSAB you just sound like TMT fanboy so don't do it.
I see Paulie winning 2-3 of the early rounds with his boxing ability, as the fight progresses he will start to get touched more with power shots, I see a 9-10 round stoppage from accumulation of punches... The Cano fight showed me that Paulie will wilt down the stretch from pressure, this was from a slow defensiveless plodder who just lost to an ancient Shane mosely, Paulie can outbox fighters who have no boxing skills, big power, defense or speed...unfortunately for him Broner has all four... Against Cotto, Hatton and Khan, all devastating losses Paulie looked like the average fighter he really is, you can't brag about fighting the best when you were stopped by two and beaten badly by the other...I think he was fortunate to get the gift against Cano a C level fighter... Broner hasn't faced tip quality opposition and he still will not have after he beats Paulie...Adrien. is no Berto, he is a thinker, has good defense and the ability to fight on the inside, Andre depended on natural athletic abilities, he has the speed and power but lacks ring iq, defense, an inside game and also has balance issues, the two don't compare, I see none of the flaws in Broner but saw these in Berto even in his wins, like I said easy victory for Broner... TKO 10...A. Broner...
Please change the name of this thread to "Less than 24 hours until Adrien Broner leaves the ring on a stretcher!!!"
How are you going to base it of Cano fight? Broner is not a pressure fighter and the fights that Cotto and Khan brought to Pauly are not usually the way Broner fights. The two stoppages on Pauly's records are not KOs. He was not hurt and still fighting back at the end of the eleventh round in both fights. You know what we learned in the Cotto fight we learned about PM intangibles we know that when the going gets rough he will keep fighting. Broner the jury is still out on him due to the low quality of opposition. Broner has not even seen the 11th round in any of his fights so what makes you think he wont wilt down the stretch? We don't know because these questions are still unanswered. One of the few guys on Broner's resume that can be considered world class is Ponce de Leon whom he couldn't stop and personally I think he lost that fight. So if you want to talk about losing to a plodder there you go.
LOL...so you can have all the fan boys up in arms talking nonsense and adding nothing of value to the thread? But sometimes that is the only way you get people to read the threads unfortunately; by a trollish thread title. lol
Broner didn't lose to Ponce, he was still very young and inexperienced, Ponce kept himself in the fight with a high volume of body punches that weren't really effective, Broner landed all the clean shots and Ponce barely landed any head shots, pretty much every fighter struggles with an opponent at some point it is what it is, a learning experience... Paulie on the other hand has 4 losses and has struggled on more than one occasion against fighters, Paulie wasn't competitive in either the Hatton or Khan fight, he was thoroughly dominated, doesn't matter that you showed heart and continued to fight, still got his ass beat, now if you've watched Broner's last few fights he does very much so walk down opponents with intelligent pressure, good body work and power shots, he's a smart fighter and with Paulies lack of power and the fact that I know he will try to remain on the outside and box off the jab, I'm sure Broner will apply lots of pressure...because that's how he fights... Its smart pressure, he doesn't waste punches, but he does walk you down....Im guessing you don't watch a lot of Broner fights if you think otherwise...
We can agree to disagree on this subject, however Broner wil win and since you're expecting a Paulie win, I'm sure you'll give AB tons of credit when he does... I'm genuinely baffled why anyone thinks Maglinaggi is gonna win, the talent gap is abundantly obvious...
Ok we can agree to disagree. If talent is all that it takes then Miguel Cotto should have never lost to Anthonio Margarito and Zab Judah should have never lost to Carlos Baldomir and there would never be any upsets in boxing but ok.
Those guys had other intangibles to pull off victories, Paulie does not have those, talent isn't the only thing that wins fights, dont misconstrue my words, come tomorrow, you will see how absurd your prediction was...
