No - he was lunging all the time against Lazcano, and in the second five rounds against Floyd.

In his WBU days and against Tyszu/Castillo there was very little lunging - if he cuts that out (I expect that he will) it will be an easy fight.

Lunging is what Paulie will want him to do, so he can use his slashing punches to outland Ricky before skipping out of range - but then Hatton will resort to the pure hit and hold style seen in the second half of the Urango fight to pick up the 10-9's.

I've just stuck 825 of vcash on Hopkins though because of the odds.



Haye is a hot favourite to beat Barrett - which is quite surprising seeing as there are questions about how he will manage the step up in weight. Having said that Barrett is no great shakes.
