It's no secret Floyd was approached by these "investors". I doubt this will lead to any fight happening. The article on the site that hypes fights sheds light on the matter.

Ellerbe is probably on GBP or Haymon's payroll. He is lying to discredit Arum and to try get Floyd to fight another GBP fighter for May 5. Meanwhile Floyd is still ducking Pac. He mouths off nonsense things about wanting to fight Pacquiao but says he wouldn't negotiate until the defamation lawsuit is dropped. What a coward. First it was the OSDT, now they are hiding behind the lawsuit.

 

Why doesn't Pac just drop the lawsuit then, since he's telling everyone how much he wants to make this fight? :think

 

In the first place, the lawsuit has nothing to do with this fight.floyd did directly and indirectly said Pac was on PEDs. Its only reasonable for Pac to vindicate himself through that lawsuit. What is unreasonable is floyd's demand. But sure, the lawsuit will be dropped if Floyd apologizes first. Pac dropped the lawsuit against GBP when Dela Hoya apologized. But if floyd don't do anything and acts like a primadonna like Pac owes him something, nothing will move forward for this fight. Pac already agreed to the test. Then he sent Koncz to try to open up some talks. Now floyd wants him to drop the lawsuit. Its pretty obvious who really wants this fight and who is making roadblocks to avoid it.

 

I heard he was going to whip Floyd into shape for the next DWTS.

 

and some ****s here want floyd's business model to apply in this fight. Stupid ****s, that only applies when floyd is fighting the likes of Victor Ortiz and Shane Mosley. That model allows floyd to write his opponent a check as payment for services and all the rest of the money goes to Floyd.

Manny is a superstar in his own right and the only reasonable business deal is for both fighters to get 50/50 of whatever earning is to made. And since floyd wants something like a 100 million dollar guarantee to make this fight, the only way possible to get that money is to look for investors. Arum is bringing up guys from the music and entertainment business and even from Wall street to back up this fight. All GBP has done on the other hand is to make press releases saying Pac is not negotiating and that Floyd should move on immediately to fight Canelo for May 5. LMAO. and the lying ****** ellerbe is caught in his lies once more. The HBO president called him out for his lie in 2010. Now he is all over the place exposed once more for lying this time around.

Pac should be vindicating himself in the ring, not in the courts. There's more money to be made by fighting the fight. But, it's hard to do business with someone who you are suing.

So whats the purpose of Koncz showing up at Floyd Gym other then trying to save face, and showing the public they are trying .
