Montreal media, mainly RDS, are trying to argue Alcine has a fair chance at outboxing him. Alcine is in fact a dead man.
At one point he'd have given Lemieux some trouble, but he's past it. I see a KO within' 3 rounds in this one. I'd like if it went a little longer actually, be interesting to see if indeed his stamina has improved and he's integrated a little more boxing into his style. But it'll be an early night I think, he's gonna be hungry for an explosive win.
Just came across some video from training a few days ago. Check out the pop on those punches. Lookin' beast. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhchNwe_5Iw[/ame]
When Anber left him, I suspected Lemieux was damaged goods. First and foremost he has discipline issues and has probably thrown away a promising career. His ascent and quick descent coupled with lifestyle problems, remind me of Paul Molitor. Unfortunatly, Lemieux will likely become one of those "what if" fighters and there's so many of them in boxing. It truly takes a completely dedicated person, both in and out of the ring, to become elite.
