Anyone who thinks the toe made a difference for the fight is having a laugh. If it was his big toe, fair enough, but it wasn't.

It could, and probably did, affect his training though. We wondered why Haye had stopped training so early and I guess this is the reason why. He wasn't fit enough for boxing because he missed out on so much training. He certainly didn't look as sharp as we've seen him before and I do think that's down to him rather than what Wlad made him look like.

Wasn't bothering him when he was falling on the floor looking for his misplaced Oscar. In addition it didn't seem to bother him with his endless juking and feinting. Haye is a fraud end of story. Much like every other Klitchsko opponent he was beaten soundly because he wasn't good enough. Haye simply was not able to close the gap. He disrespected Vlad. Never respected his ability's and was humbled by his length speed and power when he got in the ring.

Absolutely it would. I couldn't believe it when he said he was actually considering cancelling the fight!! Because of his little toe? Everything has to be in David's favour. His a poor professional and a poor sportsman. He's extremely selfish and doesn't give two shits about his fans. This has always been about him.

I believe him when he says his toes was a problem and his whole game plan seemed to be about levering off that foot to get the power.

But i agree with you that he was beaten soundly cuz he wasnt good enough, like i say good toe bad toe, doesnt matter when you are strugglin to get into position to use the power and reaching as far as you can just to get a glove on him isnt guna knock the guy out.

And also the lack of any other tactics was completely him and Booths fault.

Oh his poor toe was hurt thats why he lost? please any boxer knows you push off the ball of your foot not your toes like a ballerina ...Haye gave a pathetic effort and lost his little toe hand nothing to do with it now he joins the ranks of the bums he criticized earlier ...that happened too do much better than his survival ass ...makes me want to spit Haye's "effort" to lose was pathetic keep trying to draw points by flopping to the ground like a NBA player you still wont win a fight.

It was his little toe lol!! My toe has been worse than that from just wearing bad boots up a hill walk. One of the worst excuses in history, up there with Duran "needing a poo".

It's a different story if it's the big toe, that has some mechanical importance - but this is just bull****. Sportmen compete through pain all the time.

What a *****. He seemed fine walking to the ring. Never mentioned anything pre fight but only after losing does he start limping and wearing sandals to post match press conferences to show off his bad little toe.

He fought Valuev with a broken hand but a broken toe too much

Well Haye should take the rematch offer that Klitschko has offered him if his toe hindered him to that much last night, if he isnt going to take that offer then why the **** mention it, he can **** off to America or Cyprus if he mentions his ****ing toe and doesnt take the rematch, why doesnt he prove to every boxing fan out there that last nights loss was down to that bad toe then.... nothing worse than coming up with a post fight excuse and then not pursueing a rematch.
