I've had much worse injuries as an amateur fighter and never complained. He's a professional who makes money with fighting, a ****ing broken toe you have got to me shitting me.
He really shouldnt have bothered mentioning this as it had no bearing on the outcome of this fight... This has just made him look like an excuse making little ***** rather than someone who is humble/honest in defeat.
Anyone knows when the photo was taken and what was his toe condition at the fight time? I cant kick the wall at this moment show you swollen toe which most likely be fine in a week time. Does it make for excuse a couple of weeks later? Edit: Oh it was at the post fight conference? My bad.
Haye is exposing himself continually and I'm loving it! I don't care if his toe was falling off...there have been fighters who have fought bravely with their jaws hanging off! Haye is a complete fraud. After all that talk, to bring up his little toe...well, it doesn't get any better than that!
Through all of Haye's quotes, he complains that the adrenalin and local anesthetic wasn't doing the trick. Really?
I broke my little toe a few times, stubbed it on my weight bench, there are no joints in it like your other toes, once you put a lot of pressure on it, it just re-breaks. Not making excuses for Haye but it's pretty painful.
