I don't mean to be callous, but I really think that anaesthetic and adrenaline would minimize the effect of a broken little toe. I know many will disagree with me on this, but we've seen guys fight on with broken hands, injured shoulders, broken noses and broken jaws, which are infinitely more painful. Bottom line is, if Haye felt he couldn't perform effectively because of this, he should have postponed the fight. He chose not to, so he can shut the hell up with his excuses now.
You must be ****ing joking!!! Imagine what you would be posting if he did that? He would never have heard the end of it. Silly post.
To be fair there would be 15stone of pressure on it which isn't to be sneezed at. Excuses after the fight never go down well, Haye should have kept stum.
That, is the very definition of guts! That was awesome to watch. Loop this on David Hayes' "teli" make him watch it over and over and over and over....
Yes, I was going to give him some leeway, had it been the big toe. But the little toe caused him to not be able to push off with his foot? :blood
15 stone or 5 stone, 12 rounds with a broken toe would be painful. All the nerves in the body end at the toes, it would be pretty uncomfortable. Still, if you are fighting for the heavyweight championship of the world, yeah, it sounds quite pathetic, but it still ****ing hurts.
Well, if you circle a fighter, where is the pressure at? It's not the inside of the foot is it? Can anyone think on these boards?
