Thanks. Looks like Wells is about to unleash that power left hand after landing the jab.

I WONDER IF THAT WAS FIGHT 1 or 2...Wells Ko'd Larry 2 times...but Wells looks like a middleweight but he had sick power, I think he scored 91 1st rd KO's...I forget what rds he Ko'd Holmes in. I think it was in the 3rd 1st fight and the 1st in the rematch...do you know

by the way they were not RSF types of KO's ...when Wells KO'd Holmes they took Larry out on a stretcher 2 times. Nick posted on this site once and so did his son and Nick said they took Larry out on a stretcher 2 times

the first fight was a 3rd rd ko.this picture was the second fight of theirs.(in the 72 olympic trials) , 1st rd ko. if you look closly youll see the cut on nicks left eyebrow. this was recvd from a door at the team hotel prior to the fight.bobbick breathed on it and reopened it in the final. wells broke bobbicks nose and was on his way to victory but the ref wouldnt let wells come out for the third rd. sorry the picture is so small , i couldnt figure how to make it bigger.

What happened to Nick Wells. Dude seemed like a lethal puncher although Holmes had no weight on his legs as an amateur.
