    Liston wasn't knocked out.

He dropped an eight round decision.

Wolgast was knocked out though

I added the important fact that the right hand that basically froze Liston for the follow -up was an inside shot- inside Liston's reach- I can see you must be a 12 year old to try be petty as a school child but I will take note

Jesus, at least get the facts straight.

He fought to the finish with a broken jaw.... So much for the quitter label, right?

He was 40+ years old for the Martin fight. What was Rocky doing at that age? How would he have fared at that age?

I'm not really reading you here Bummy.

How does Leotis hit Sonny outside Sonny's reach if Sonny's reach is longer than Martin's? Surely ALL punches he could ever hit Liston with would have to be inside his reach?

You said he KO'd Liston by fighting on the inside which was simply wrong. As a matter of fact, he did the opposite.

I love people dissecting a booze-addled 45 year old fighter's loss in his final fight as though it were some sort of stylistic Rosetta Stone....

And just to set proper context within that abysmal line of argumentation, Martin's reach was 9" longer than Marciano's.

Not to mention Martin boxed from the outside, hardly Marciano's style.

Inside Sonny's reach - he was able to connect inside - past Sonny reach with a very hard short right hand-

With the exception of Bugner the men he fought over 220 lb were not very good. When they tried stepping up in competition they consistently lost.

Fighting these guys gives us little evidence as to how Ali fares against a Wladimir Klitschko< Lennox Lewis, Vitali ,etc
