Moore was 64(65?)-4-2 or something at HW. Holyfield was troubled by smaller fighters (Qawi, Byrd, Tooney, Moorer). I’d say Moore is better then all of them. Now tell me if the other fighters ive mentioned previously whom you thought was better who had a record that can compare to Archies? How many ranked fighters did those men beat in comparison? When you’re done figuring that out let me know

No I don’t. But with Holyfield it’s a styles matchup. I don’t think Byrd ever beats Tyson but I think Byrd beats Holyfield everytime.

Do you not think Byrd beats Holyfield every time? He owned him terribly. I know you understand styles matchups what don’t you understand? Holyfield has a hard time with small fast counter punchers.

 

Tbf he was shot with one arm for Byrd. I can't see him beating Holyfield at his best.

 

Holyfield went on to be competitive for a short while longer but he was humiliated against Byrd and Tooney. Everyone also knows his troubles w Qawi. I am a Holyfield fan he was an excellent fighter but tends to get a bit overrated accomplishment wise. Can hang w anyone though for sure.

Byrd and Tooney were totally different fighters from Qawi. Holyfield only had 10 or 11 fights when he fought Qawi who was a established and experienced top level fighter at that time. Holyfield still won a tough 15 round decision but he was still a green fighter then. The rematch a year or so later showed how Holyfield was on a different level to Qawi.I agree though that Holyfield does get overrated from time to time here.

Oops Toney. Lol I agree with the Qawi bit but he did struggle at all points of his career with smaller men whom were good boxers. Moorer beat him in prime. And Byrd imo really beat him bad (was very sad for Holy that day). So bad I don’t think in prime he would have been that competitive. Toney knocked him out which was shocking. I just don’t think Holy matches well with fighters who make him the aggressor and are capable counter punchers. Holmes also comes to mind but he was bigger then holy.

 

Foster do not hit harder than Durelle or Satterfield and his chin is questionable thing!Ezzard Charles knocked Satterfield also!If Charles beat Moore that doesn't mean that china chinned Foster could not do that too!Charles is slick counterpuncher who had right style to beat Archie!But guys like Foster are talior made for guys like Moore and Charles!Ali beat Young bit Young beat Foreman!That is same situation!Ezz have style to beat powerpunchers like Satterfield and Foster and so did Archie maybe not fast as Ezzard but in close time!Ezzard=>Archie>>Foster/Satterfield==Ali=>Young>Foreman!
Moore was knocked only at late age or early in his first bouts!

 

Also you mentioned Marciano struggle with smaller man but you never mentioned that Frazier struggled with small Eddie Machen washed old LHW and that he had probblems with old Scrap Iron who also almost beat him!

Holyfield had a health problem when he fought Moorer ,c'mon GP you know this, it's not like you to go down the Chok route.
