    The operative word is EX!
He was not a light heavyweight when he fought Foster,no more than Spinks was when he fought Holmes, or Tunney was when he fought Dempsey.

Foster was stopped 3 times by LHWs and was knocked and counted! Was 34 years old Foster suspended 3 years from boxing like Ali was?!Ali was past prime and hardly trained for that fight and Ali was also light puncher himself! So yeah Ali was past prime more than Foster!
Yeah and Folley knocked him down in later rounds! The veteran Folley, 33, who hopes for a heavyweight title shot, finally forgot his caution in the final round and had the lighter Foster staggering when the bell rang." -Associated Press
Yeah old Satterfield beat Williams and that was prime Williams and they fought as undercard!Did Foster ever beat even green big HW like washed Satterfield did?I do not think so!Foster was beaten by every big man but washed Satterfield beat Williams!Satterfield was better than Foster in every single way!

Moore beat him once, and that was after. The point is what was he doing being kod by a second rater, whilst in his prime in the first place?

Nope Foster was never stopped by a light heavyweight ,look up what they weighed when they beat him.Folley had 31 lbs on Foster and you said he kod him he didn't, neither did he drop him, though he, and he alone claimed he did. Williams was 20 years old and just over 200lbs he was also a late two day substitute for that fight.
    Satterfield was just 30 years old ,he would fight for another 3 years beating the likes of;
    Summerlin
    Carter
    Mederos
    Valdes
    Holman
You don't know much about this game do you?
It doesn't matter ,you could learn a lot here from some of these guys,if you are prepared to listen that is.

As to the Leonard Morrow loss, I would note that out of 225+ pro fights, it is normal to have a strange loss to a seeming nobody, much like Jack Dempsey's loss to Jim Flynn. The accounts of those who were ringside that I've heard said that Moore was practically asleep in the ring, not even watching Morrow, when he got caught and knocked out in a very embarassing situation. He then mercilessly pounded Morrow in a rematch. Moore had the longest title reign of any light heavyweight champ, and his wins over Joey Maxim(twice), Harold Johnson(4 times out of 5), etc., are not to be overlooked.

One interesting thing I noticed about Bob Foster is that arguably the three best light-heavies he ever fought - Doug Jones, Mauro Mina, and Jorge Ahumada - he all failed to beat. Sure, you can excuse them all - saying he was still inexperienced when he fought Jones, past his prime when he fought Ahumada, etc. - but that fact still remains, on paper. And the best light-heavy he himself beat was old, blown-up middle Dick Tiger. (guys like Andy Kendall, Frank DePaula, and Roger Rouse were also being beaten by Tiger at around the same time Foster was fighting them)

Let’s be fair he said he had a health problem with every loss he had. I don’t buy those excuses from fighters. Cancel the fight if you’re that bad (hold baers excuse with his hand in same regard for eg). I forget his health problem for Moorer (heart? From roids?) or was it his arm? Idk he always said he wasn’t a 100 percent when he lost to Bowe, Moorer, etc. I think at his best he beats Moorer most times but it doesn’t change that he had trouble with him injured or not. I would also say Archie is better then Moorer, Qawi, Byrd, and Toney. All men whom gave different stages of Holyfield trouble. I love Holyfield by the way. Very exciting fighter and a reason why I love boxing.

Leonard Morrow was originally matched to fight Louis in the exhibition but instead headed for Toledo, Ohio for a fight with Archie Moore. The California Boxing Commission through the N.B.A. sent a request to the Toledo Boxing Commission to stop the fight between Archie Moore and Leonard Morrow for not going through with the fight in California.
p.s. the loss to leonard morrow .....morrow caught archie cold in the first round with a solid punch. when they fought again moore kayoed him in the tenth, i think. moore was not unbeatable..no fighter is...but he was an all time great.

Dempsey was an unknown kid fighting a seasoned veteran who having fought for the tile several times ,was certainly no nobody.
Moore was a ranked fighter bang in his prime with 261 fights under his belt. Leave the other BS out FFS.lol
