Holyfield was hospitalized after the fight. He was suffering from dehydration and a rotator-cuff injury. A kidney bruise was also discovered. He was given a large amount of liquids for the kidney problem, but his lungs filled because his heart was not able to pump the fluids out. He was then diagnosed as having a noncompliant left ventricle. Holyfield retired as a result. [4] A couple of months later, Holyfield said he had been cured by evangelist Benny Hinn. [5] Holyfield went to the Mayo Clinic and was given a clean bill of health.
Let's not also deny this happened ,or ignore the result of the rematch ,when Holyfield was 100%.

Never said Holyfield wasn’t better then Moorer. Just that he had trouble with him. Which is a more then fair assessment.

Satterfield was born on 9th of November 1923,he fought Williams on 22nd June 1954.
Therefore he was 30 years old.
I wouldn't mind keep correcting your mistakes, if you would have the good manners to admit them.

Will you accept he had a health problem or not? Because if you won't, I will not waste any more of my time on this. There are more than enough posters denying the glaring truths presented to them lately, as evidenced by Serbian No Nothing. It's beginning to get rather tiresome!
I can get all the stone- walling I want, all I have to do is engage with Chokky.

He had a health problem with Moorer lol I have no problem saying it. But can you admit Holyfield had problems with good defensive fighters?

So, now we are using Holy's performances in his 40's as a basis of how he would do against Marciano? Is this what is happening here?

I knew you people had no intellectual rigor, but apparently you have no shame either.

It’s in regard to Moore not Marciano and ages of Holyfield were used all through his career not just 40.

Everybody has problems with good defensive fighters. That by the way, is not what you originally stated, which was the following.
" he had problems with smaller men who were good boxers". Until he was old no small heavyweights beat him. Fact.

Now lets look at the truth.
Toney is 5'10" and weighed 217lbs 7lbs more than a prime Max Baer,5lbs more than a prime Sonny Liston and a prime Ali. Holyfield was7lbs heavier and 15 days away from his 41st birthday .
Byrd is 6'2"and weighed 214lbs for that fight just 6lbs lighter than Holyfield , Holyfield was 40 years old.
"Holyfield complained to his corner after the seventh round that his shoulder was hurting, and he briefly switched to a left-handed style in the next round to throw right jabs.

"He threw more punches and he kept me off balance," Holyfield said. "I hurt my shoulder and I couldn't use my left hand. I could throw to the body, but that's it. And you know I like to throw left hooks."

Moorer is 6'2" and at 214lbs weighed the same as Holyfield.

I don't admit it because it isnt true anyone would have trouble against a crafty defensive southpaw especially when he his 40 years old and fighting injured.Don't call me names you ***** ,you got exposed here stating BS.
