    Congratulations, after being on these forums for years you have vividly brought to life for me the phrase ,,Rockista! You are without question the King of the Rockista's all others are pale Princes, to actually argue that Joe Louis wasn't shot when he fought Marciano puts you into the stratosphere, Salute!!!

    You should take a break but it does ebb and flow here. I took an extended break a few years back because all the good, knowledgeable posters seemed to be overwhelmed by knuckleheads. I lurked but didn’t post but then the tone improved and some good posters returned and some new quality young ones popped up so I returned and I’ve enjoyed it for a few years now. Sadly it’s going a bit crappy again but fingers crossed it’ll improve again.
    Anyway enjoy your travels, stay safe and hopefully you’ll be back again soon sharing your knowledge and opinions (this forum needs all of that it can get).

    Two threads about Rocky Marciano have been merged this week. Both were about he and Liston.

    If that legitimately causes confusion, the problem isn’t the merge I’m afraid.

    The other thread, the OP was asking for a concensus in Liston's time on who would've won between him and Marciano. Now that you've merged them, that particular topic won't get any more replies.

    I'm afraid there's a general ban on individual Marciano threads right now. They spawn more bad posting and bad behaviour and work for moderators than any other strain in the history of the forum. The behaviour of both those boosting and detracting from Marciano are pretty bizarre now.

    Where people can behave themselves a thread might run a while, but that's it. As soon as the **** you,. get ****ed patter starts, into the bin with them.

    You can start all the Marciano threads you like on another forum.
