It indicates a guy who was smart enough to change his style in order to protect a weakness.

Lennox wasn't dumb; he knew he needed to take measures to avoid taking shots he couldn't handle. Manny Steward gave him the tools to do it, and he did it. Kudos to him.

The problem for the glass-jawed Khan is he doesn't have the natural size advantages that Lenny had as a heavyweight. That is, he isn't 4-5" taller than most guys and doesn't outweigh them by 30 pounds or have a much greater reach, so it's going to be a lot tougher for him to use 'jab-and-grab' like LL did so well.

The glaring, to use your description, hole in your arguement is that if there was such a huge weakness then why did it not get exposed until long into LL's career. Unlike Khan who is facing featherdusters LL faced and beat all until these complacent efforts. That is what it is - complacency not chin. Train easy - fight hard.

You gotta be kidding. When you're fighting the Tyrell Biggs of the world, your jaw isn't going to be tested. Len was smart enough to take guys who could hurt him (like Ruddock) out quickly, but since at least Bruno people knew he had no chin. And then McCall just proved it to the world. LL never had a chin, which led to moments like this:

So after Lewis got 1-punch KO'd against McCall, he started to hold more, like Steward taught him to. You'll see a ton of that technique against Holyfield and Tua, especially. Also some against Briggs, who was another who wobbled Leggy Lenny.

I guess while Lewis was filiming Ocean's 11 he got too full of himself and forgot the piece of china at the bottom of his face. Rahman soon reminded him. After that fight, back to jab-and-grab and use his size and height against Tyson and others.

Hey, it worked. You have to know your weaknesses.

"LL never had a chin" - classic comment, man goes twenty years and is able to never get hit and thus protect his chin against just about all comers. **** LL makes Willie Pep look inadequate. Your statements are becoming more and more extreme as you try to justify your hatin' - give up and crack open the next jar of hatorade and toast the death of any objectivity you had! :deal

Oh, right, we don't want to shatter our wine glasses! LOL!!!!!!

And yes, he picked liddell to win.. :patsch

This thread is garbage, its not even worth arguing why the fighters he chose do not have glass chins.

You're right, trunz. How could I have thought any of those guys had glass jaws?

Let's take a look at those 4 guys, in what are apparently make-believe, doctored images.

RJJ meditating before his fight with Glen Johnson. Yes, I know it looks like he just got KTFO and would be on the canvas for about 5 minutes, but it's just a pre-fight ritual of Roy's.

I know it looks like Zab is Chicken Dancing, but really it's all a myth, kind of like how we never landed on the moon!

This is not really Amir Khan getting knocked down by a featherfisted guy (Limond), and no, really, he does not have a glass jaw. Honest.

    :rofl

Based on the photographic evidence of my last 4 posts, I think it's fairly easy to come to the correct conclusion:

The 4 guys I mentioned at the start of the thread? When you think of their chins, just think of this:

Actually I was looking at that and thinking that is what happened to your brains.

Based on written evidence I think it's fairly easy to come to the correct conclusion: you are a troll.

Stop wasting everyone's time and get in the gym and learn about the sport firsthand - you might actually learn something and if not at least someone has managed to beat you up for wasting our time.

Of course, PIRA. The last refuge of the defeated debater is to personally attack the person whom he lost to.

    Don't worry, I'm used to it. :)

I know it must be tough looking at those pictures, seeing Lenny all KO'd in the 2nd round like a 6'5" child who stumbled during recess.

BWAHAHAHAHAH!!! Len "Chinless" Lewis, "All-Time Great"

HAGLER??? WTF are you kidding me? That guy was tough as hell and I can't believe his name would even come up on this thread
