The event was incredible, and I particuarly enjoyed the undercard.

Barrera being my favorite fighter, and as good as we all knew he was, it was sad to see the main event.

Goodluck to Khan. He will need it against the top 135lb fighters in the world.

Its a shame about the cut happening because its given people like you an excuse for the way Khan whupped Barrerra.

Cut or no cut there was no way Barrerra was going to win that fight :deal

    Deal with it :thumbsup

It's ignorant to say the cut played no factor.

Khan still gets stopped at world level, but he had his night. He can always say that.

So why in your previous post does it say im not going to say for 100% certain Barrera would of won thus implying you were almost certain he would off? :huh

i wasn't implying that at all.

All i'm saying is that after viewing the fight i think that without the cut Barrera would have had a very good shot at beating Khan.

I might still favour Khan though. but i'm not crazy he did get wobbled right? I mean does that not sound an alarm for you?

He got wobbled when Barrera was fighting blind in one eye and the doctor stopped it in 5, so don't you think that if Barrera could see properly and that the fight was the whole 12 rounds there is a very good chance Khan would get sparked? It seems logical to me.

Wether i just missed it or what i dont know but i dont recall him being wobbled in the 5th, i'll take your word for it.

Barrera was being hit from all sides, different angles, he was being continually hit by Khans left arm as well, Khan was just to quick for him and i didnt really see him slowing down that much later in the fight as he is 1 of the fittest fighters Roach's conditioner has ever worked with as said by the man himself.

Was a brilliant night, i got to meet Michael Gomez as well what a hero, the atmosphere as well for both the Enzo fight (haha) and Khan was class.

Not my pic, but a good one of Barreras cut.

    1.37 into the video.

he gets rocked by a right hand. I'm not saying he was doing the chicken dance Zab Judah style but Barrera definately did hurt Khan and his legs buckled and they stopped the fight 30 seconds later for ****s sake. Its pathetic.

Pretty much. There was just no reason for them to have stopped the fight when they did. The cut was no worse than it was in the 2nd round - either stop it when it happens, or if you made the judgment that he can fight through it, let him fight through it until he gets hurt.

While Amir clearly beat Barrera and probably deserved the win, the ref's handling of the fight was pretty horrible.

Dude I don't think YOU saw the fight. Your nuthugging reveals that. How can you say it didn't have impact?
