pictures of soviet/cuban fighters?

    hi guys,

    in my boxing club, the coach is cuban, and he was wondering if i could find pictures of soviet/eastern block,cuban fighters who fought say before 1990...

    any help would be great...thanks

    I would like to find the Alex Miroshnichenko vs Maskaev fight? Even some pictures would be nice of Miroshnichenko.

    Miroshenko was the inspiration for Ivan Drago. I beleive he beat both Lennox Lewis and Riddick Bowe as Amatuers.

    Alexander broke his hand against Maskaev, and lost by TKO. I have always wonder WTF really happend in that fight ? HTF did he manage to lose to Maskaev?

    In the Olympics Miroshnichenko knocked down Riddick Bowe twice, but still lost. In amatuer fights KD's dont count any more than a jab , was outpointed and got the Bronze medal.

    Glad u caught that before I got to it cuz I was gonna tell u that Bowe won. Also, a knockdown in the amateurs doesn't necessarily mean u hit the canvas.
