More likely than not he got the fight because he picked up the EBU title, which is one of the oldest and most prominent regional titles in boxing. The owner of the EBU title usually gets a fair bit of notoriety in Europe thanks to it.

I know before Sosnowski picked it up that Povetkin and Dimitrenko were supposed to fight a "super eliminator" for both the WBO and IBF number one spots as well as the EBU title.

 

Sosnowski should buy himself a new suit with his L money.

 

Vitaly has fought pretty good competition since he came back so I don't have a problem with him taking a lesser fight while he waits to land a fight with Haye. But Sosnowski is even weaker than what I expected. This fight ends, by ko, whenever Vitaly wants it to.

 

Vitali KO...nobody can contend with these guys in THIS era...the only competition they really have is each other and that fight will never happen

 

Wtf is the matter with his suit? I love that blacked out look.

he is just staying busy with fights. Nobody else wants to fight the guy. He has been by far the most active rated Heavyweight.

im half polish...now that i got that out of the way, ill actually be in poland when the fight goes down. i like both guys, im a vitali fan, however part of me will be rooting for al. i think he will try really hard, and that will make vitali look really good too. his two fights against gomez and johnson sucked, because his opponents didnt have the style that makes them go for the kill. arreola and peter however made vitali look really good. i think sosnowski will be in the latter category and will make vitali look impressive...unless he beats big klitschko.
