I've seen Cote live and was impressed with his speed and power, but he doesn't have the craft to land on Broner.

    Agreed with SSJ19 on this.

Cote's got massive power and yeah, all it takes in one, but APU has himself been rocked in the Theron fight and Im afraid his overreaching would be his demise should he step up to quickly.

Could be a great fight in a few yrs though. Let's watch Cote and see if he can tighten his approach some.

Anyone know why he's been inactive since the Bute Froch fight?

Took him 5 rds to dispatch Lloyd, but it was evident he was merely trying to draw it out.....unless, he hurt a hand, IDK.:think

When Broner moves up, he will probably jump way ahead of this guy. Apu will probably have to have won a major title, or be in line for one, for them to meet.

He looks like he has dynamite power. Broner eats him up though.

Cote needs work on his foot positioning.

Basics kid, then he can talk about Broners.

I'm Canadian, Apu's my dog but man I have a bad feeling about him at the world class level. He's another Lemiuex imo. Our prospects always look like beasts til they fight someone in the the top 10 who's battle tested. If I've learned anything over the years it's to not jumpo the gun and let patriotism blind my better judgement. My guess is Apu gets knocked out at the top level, I'm rooting for him though like I do with all local fighters.

Mikael Zewski looks to be the far better Canadian prospect to me. He's my pick for next Canadian that can actiually do something on the world stage. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=524298&cat=boxer go youtube the guy if you haven't seen him, he's much more rounded than Cote and he can bang too.

Whatever though, as long as it lasts, Apu is a blast.

    Very exciting.
