I was very impressed with this kid in his fight in showtime. Has a great amount of power and speed. How far do you think this kid will go? Here is his latest fight. Didn't they tout David Lemieaux the same way? What happened to him when he stepped it up?They are lucky they are young enough to restart their engines, but slow and steady does it.
David Lemieux said himself he had a ''Big head'' with all those knockouts, he was thinking he could knock everybody without training hard. Like you said hes young enough to restart his engine and hopefully will go the right way Pier-olivier Côté his already 27 and has some defense holes but the guy began boxing at 20 years old so he has to be super talented and he should be able to get better defensively and contains his aggessivness when he smell blood
Yea he is a beast! Wins to Michael Lozada and Jorge Luis Teron level guys will do him well at this point in his career. Good pace.
So overhyped that nobody knew him prior to last Saturday's fight.... C'mon! Since he is from my hometown, I sheer for him. He is really exiting fighting, who will have to tighten his defence. He is no Flo or Pac, or Khan, but still he is a guy to watch, and who knows what will happen. And, by the way, Lemieux is still only 23... Quebec is probably having the best time of it's history boxing wise, the opposite of what is happening politically...
Show me how he could be overhyped. He just appeared on the radar. Not for Quebec fans but all we are saying is he's a good prospect. Try to elaborate on why he wouldn't be, Einstein. Most prospects don't make it to the top. We can talk about them anyway. Côté has begun very late to box. He seems a good human being and hisbfights are fun to watch.
Good prospect . His fight against Navarete wasn't really impressive but his last performance was very spectacular. Maybe Larouche can shape him to became a world title holder.
