Completley contradicts himself. Highlights a problem and then adds to it.

Goes on for 10 minutes about fighters being undermatched and the public not liking it, then says Haye vs Harrison is a better fight than Adameck because it would be a tough fight.

its true though. bunce is always the first to pipe up about **** fights and promoters disappointing the public, slags of the Klitsckos for having one sided fights, and then says Audley Harrison is a top fight.

also i don't understand this theory behind Haye vs Audley doing 20,000 tickets and selling more ppv's. I was at harrisons last fight. 3,000 were in alley palley, 2/3rds were Barker fans and a 1000 greeks to see Evangelou.

it would sell a lot more and get more media attention than Haye v Adamek, which would be a 12 round jab-athon, whereas Haye v Harrison would end in fireworks and would get the attention of the red tops and general (non-boxing) media

so so wrong. Have you even watched an Adameck fight, Haye couldnt have a jabfest for 1 round if you were payig him £1mil a minute. Or Harrison for that matter who along with being completley useless is boring as they come.

Adameck would get him US HBO covrerage, the press and public still went for John Ruiz so they can be sold on Adameck.

The media attention would be negative. Even non boxing fans no audley is useless

I like Buncey, however i can`t believe he would rather Haye fight Harrison then Adameck.Adameck is a 2 weight world champion with some good wins at heavyweight and Harrison as a professional boxer has done nothing to deserve the fight.

A fight between Haye and Adameck could be a great fight, but Harrison would not last 2 rounds with Haye imo.

Great podcast but you couldn't be more wrong about Haye-Adamek. Its probably the most exciting evenly matched fight that can be currently made in the HW division. Far from a 'jab-athon'

Haye-Harrison would get huge media attention but the fight would be a farce. Haye-Adamek would do terrific business in the UK.

Fair enough jab-athon is wrong, I was talking bollocks there.

I personally want to see the best fights, which is undoubtedly Haye Adamek, because as I said on the podcast it's a tough fight for Haye, but with no HBO heavyweight coverage, he would be wiser to go for a payday and an 'easy' one before a big 2011.

He will earn more in the long run by avoiding defeat now too.

Haye Adamek would do good business, but wouldn't get as much coverage in the non-boxing media as Haye Harrison, which would attract boxing fans AND general sports fans.

Just want to see him fight to be honest, even if it is a British heavyweight.

I think Bunce makes a very good point about the more knowledgable fans - the "smart ones" if you will, and the more laid back boxing fans.

As weird as it sounds, boxing doesn't need the hardcore fans as much as it needs the casuals. 100 people on a forum not watching Haye/Harrison isn't going to bother anybody, not when the whole country will be talking about it.

The Valuev fight was a massive event because of his size only - I'd wager not 95% of the people who bought the fight had heard of Valuev before, but it sold because there was a story.

Haye/Harrison is a fight that will sell -maybe not abroad, but definitely in Britain. Everyone has heard of Audley, and everyone has heard of Haye. The promotion for the fight would be incredible, and if done cleverly, might just convince people to believe Audley might just have a chance.

No disrespect to Adamek, but what difference does it make to anyone if Haye beats him? For the satisfaction of who, ten people watching on HBO and a bunch of internet geeks? A win over Harrison will garner more appeal, and a good payday for both, which might, *might* convince him to settle for a more realistic deal with either Wlad or Vitali.

People new off Valuev. When he won the title first time round it made the back pages. I remember there being a massive picture of him on the back page on the times and thinking it was strange a german fight was getting coverage.

I am sorry but your just wrong wrong wong. Hardcore boxing fans have an influence. If theres a 100 of us on this forum telling 10 of our mates it a **** fight, and they tell

Good fights sell tickets. Enzo vs Haye got 20,000 at the 02 because it was a fight boxing fans wanted to see. The public didn't really know who either were. Haye got 20,000 for Ruiz and he can do it again for Adameck.

Harrison might get decent veiwers of normal sky but nobody is going to waste £15 to see him get sparked out in 1 round. I was at his last fight nobody was there to see Audley he sold 90 tickets!!!

HBO would show Haye vs Adameck.

If we have to put together **** fights to get mainstream interest i would rather boxing was just shown on bravo and 2 men and a dog went to fights. Why does everyone on here care so much about whether Matthew Macklin vs Darren Barker gets 2 paragraphs on page 73 of the sun??

Haye vs Harrison may be good for boxing publicity but it would only be short term. If 1million pay £15 to sky and see audley smashed in 2 jokes rounds they will feel rippied off, and then how many of those 1million will buy the next Haye fight. Not even 10%

If Haye fights Adameck in an exciting fight, it get 500k ppv buys, but you have 500k that will by the next fight, and the fight after that.

as i have said previously, i couldnt give a **** what Haye earns either.

I'm convinced that Haye vs Audley is going to happen....unfortunately. First you get articles about how Audley is moving up the World rankings (based on what I do not know, a KO of Sprott??) putting him in a prime postition to fight Haye. Sky are definitely up for it because it will sell big since Audley has a high profile. Finally we have Bunce ffs telling us all how it will be a good fight. Bit disappointed in Buncey for this stance tbh :think

At the end of the day though, it is a business and if Haye can earn big money for a relatively easy defence against Audley, then I can understand but not support his actions. I'm sure I recall Haye telling us all how he was into producing a legacy and then he made a big noise about fighting the Klits which so far has come to nothing. If (when) Haye does fight Audley, something in me is beginning to hope that Audley catches him with a big punch and knocks him spark out, an attitude I never thought I'd have about Haye.

I hope I'm proven wrong about all this.
