    “Imagine if he tried”? Seems like a curious thing to say about a man who overcame all the things Pinklon Thomas did.

    I think he just means if he had a good more normal straight run in life which equaled drug free etc.

    Always liked Pink,...he was my favorite 80's heavyweight titlist....I LOVED that jab of his...but oh my, what a hideous beating preceding that ko loss to Iron Mike

    Pinklon wasn't a fat, lazy underachiever like a few of his esteemed heavyweight contemporary's...
    he made the most of what he had and even shined for a while...that victory over Witherspoon and the defense vs Weaver were performances to be proud of.
