We know that Pinochio is to fight Garth Wood as part of a prearranged contract. [ unless he dogs it [
Who do the fans believe is on his step up list. He has stated that 2010 is the
year that it's going to happen..[ where have I heard that before ]
He has been talking up a Super Fight over the last few days , no names of
    course.
I'll give you a list , see if you can pick the one. No prizes for getting it right.

    PAUL WILLIAMS SEBASTIAN SYLVESTER
    KELLY PAVLIK MATTHEW MACKLIN
    GENARDY GOLOVKIN KHOREN GEVOR
    FELIX STURM HASSAN N'DAM N'JIKAM
    SAM SOLIMAN SHANNAN TAYLOR

    Good Luck !!!

Brad Walter in the SMH Jan. 13th reported Mundine as saying the first priority is securing a big money fight in the USA.
" The onlly thing I'm striving for is bigger fights. If something bigger comes up like Kelly Pavlik then I will take that. "

That narrows it down a bit. Feel free to add your suggestions.

Fights against the likes of Kelly Pavlik dont just COME UP..

Mundine is 40fights into his career and is still saying how he just wants the big fights in the U.S...Yet they havent ever eventuated..

Mundine thinks mentioning the names of Sturm and Pavlik in a sentence is as good as meeting them in the ring.

Thats my whole point Teke Sturm ain't elite but Mundine even shy's away from the likes of him , Mundine and you fan boys are in for a Massive surprise mate If/When he does come up in class ,thats why ive been saying he should be trying to maintain a certain standard instead of fighting domestic welterweights at a weight that suits him more ie dragging them up to Middle Weight .

I know exactly what you're saying and agree.

Sturm is kinda like Mundine with the fighters he fights

Sturm is NOTHING like Mundine in whom he fights mate , the man has lost Twice in his career once against Oscar ( some say he won that fight ) and once against Castilljero ( Spelling ) who went something like 70-8-0 , apples and oranges Teke , you seriously underestimate Sturm ive told you this before , he ain't upper still upper tier but he ain't a bum either :deal

That said now Mundine is in the perfect position to call out Sturm and secure a fight with him .

Are you serious about Sturms opponents. He like Mundine has been champ for a few yrs now and what stellar big names does he chase? He is exactly like Mundine, you can argue the degree to who has had worse but the bottom line is he isnt going out of his comfort zone just like Choc isnt.

I have seen probably 8 or so Sturm fights and am pretty clear on where he stands in the world of boxing and how he fights. No underestimation from me.

Sturm ain't fighting domestic welters and Argie cabbies mate , he fought Oscar and lost a close one that many think he won , he lost to castillrjo then rematched him and won , he drew v Griffin then rematched him and won , he beats everyone put in front of him , look do you think Mundine would TKO Pittman ? No ,,,Sturm ain't top tier but he pisses all over Mundine for challenging himself , take a pepsi/coke test with him and Mundines last ten respective opponents Teke and stop talking bollocks

Im well aware of whom Sturm has fought, if you wanna drop names like Dela Hoya or a Cast and Randy. I can drop Ottke/Kessler/Green/Soliman :lol: How's that stack up between the 2 :lol:

Did Joe KO RJJ...No, did Green Yes :deal:deal That's pretty much how useful your Q. to me about Mundine KO'ing Pittman is.

Just agree with me about Sturm, he aint chasing glory against the likes of Abraham or Pavlik or Williams or whoever just like Mundine isnt. I will herd you around the paddock all day brother :p

neigh i won't be hearded around the paddock by you mate  my Pittman question was a sort of jibe that Mundine would not even step up against the likes of Jamie these days ( domestic with a 168lb pulse ) lol what i was trying to get over is that Sturm has fought some decent fighters in the last 5 years and when he has been beaten or no side called he has rematched them both and won , when has Mundine lost and rematched the bloke that bettered him ? Sturm ain't no rocky marciano i agree but he is head and shoulders above Mundine these days , Just see what Mundine does after he fights that kid who is 7-1 ( Gotta love Mundines ambition there ) lol i bet he won't entertain the likes of Felix though . :deal

ESB have reported that the WBA have made Genardy Golovkin
Felix Sturm's mandatory with the fight to take place no later than April 2010.
No doubt Pinochio's team will be considering a challenge to the winner.
