I wouldnt call him a joke coz he had talent and highly touted. He lacked heart and wilts under the lights. Now hes ruined forever. Donaire has shifted to another notch..and hes got more notches

He did look soft, soft as butter!..lol...why is he fighting at 115? He looked better @ 108 where he briefly held the title. He is like 5'3 or 5'4, he would be at a disadvantage against some of the bigger and more skilled flyweights. Donaire is way too fast and seasoned for Viloria at this point. Though I wouldn't mind seeing a grudge match, but Viloria should beat some decent comp, before trying for another belt.

Nonito has beef with Viloria because back in 2000, the U.S. Olympic Trials flyweight final was between him and Brian. Viloria won what many thought was a controversial decision. Nonito and his brother Glenn claim politics had something to do with it.

Then, when Nonito was still a contender at 115 (back when he and Glenn were managed by Jackie Kallen of "Against the Ropes" fame), Viloria was a contender at 112. Nonito called him and his management out. No response.

Then Viloria won the WBC belt at 108. Glenn, who is a natural flyweight, offered to fight him at 108. No response.

Then Nonito wins the IBF 112 after Viloria loses his belt. NOW Viloria wants to move up, as 112 is his natural weight. Nonito is gonna burn this through.

Lol, they are on 2 different level. Nonito is on PacMan's level in SKILL/POWER (little bit of better boxer) and in a few fights (if he fights and defeats Mijares) he will join him on the p4p list.

Doesn't sound like a beef to me. Donaire has some good points. Who has Viloria actually beaten lately? Viloria has looked lackadaisical in the ring lately and lost to some pretty mediocre fighters. Why would a titleholder at 112 want to fight a guy who's moving up in weight and coming off a few bad losses and draws when there are other champs and bigger names he could fight?

Nonito would easily knock Viloria out! The way I see them fight in the ring these days, Brian will kiss the canvass so fast.

F*ck you *******..I'm more American than Filipino. I was born and raised in the United States. I eat, act and think American. It has nothing to do with 'acting' or claiming allegiance to the country of our ethnicity.

I'm actually looking forward to a Viloria vs Donaire fight. Viloria does need to put on a show to prove that he deserves a title fight. And quite frankly, fighting in a swapmeet ain't cuttin' it.

This is good for the sport. Boxing needs to stop with the national patriotism and get back to just 2 people beating the crap out of each other for personal pride and honor rather than appeasing a bunch of flag waving idiots.
