Pinoy Power / RJJ - Lacy RBR Thread

I think I'll be watching Pinoy Power as the undercard isn't that bad. I think RJJ wins via late TKO and it could be interesting. It's difficult to choose.

 

I'll be watching Roy Jones vs Jeff Lacy as I think this is an interesting match up

If I'm not out on the lash, Donaire. I think I'm in a minority when I say I have no interest in watching RJJ-Lacy.

 

Is RJJ on TV tonight?

 

RJJ shot or not is still RJJ for me. When he floored Calzaghe, great moment.

The 'forearm smash'. He likes his MMA does RJJ so maybe that explains it:yep.

 

That happens all the time, it was only because he was that fast that his glove had already gone past Calzaghes face so he had to get him with the forearm I still say Monte Barrett did the same to Haye by the way but that never gets mentioned.

Am I the only one who thinks Lacy beats RJJ? RJJ is possibly my favorite fighter of all time but he is gone, has been for years. Lacy has been absolute shite ever since he lost to Calzaghe but he still knocked Taylor down (should have been ruled a knockdown for me) so I think he might K.O. him, especially with Roy's style of late, throwing a smaller number of punches and tending just to cover up and counter.

I hope I'm wrong and Roy beats him up though.

 

Pinoy Power easily. Not only am I a big fan of Donaire, but I have no interest in watching two shot fighters in a meaningless boxing match.
