Anyone else tuning in for this? Looks a pretty tasty card: Merlito Sabillo v Jorle Estrada - WBO Minimumweight title Arthur Villanueva v Arturo Badillo - vacant WBO Asia Pacific super flyweight title AJ Banal v Abraham Gomez- Banal's first bout since losing to Sor Singyu Albert Pagara v Khunkhiri Wor Wisaruth- Prince Albert faces a late change of opponent Vic Saludar v Juanito Hundante - Froilan Saludar's brother makes debut Jessel Magsayo v Jamjam Ungon Elmo Traya v Diover Mangaya-ay Crap of course I meant Pinoy Pride not Pinoy Power >_<
I wish I could tell you mate, I think one of their other brothers (Rey) was in the recent Asian Championships, but don't know too much about Froilan's recent activity (or rather lack of)
Diover Mangaya-ay upset Elmo Traya (I think) via split decision. Mangaya-ay certainly seemed to take the bigger shots through out and personally I had Traya nicking it.
Mark Magsayo stops Jamjam Ungon at 1:55 of the opening round with a devastating body shot that sees Ungon given oxygen in his corner.
Prince Albert destroys Khunkhiri Wor Wisaruth in 2 rounds. Very mature performance by the 19 year old
AJ Banal defeats Abraham Gomez who retires in his corner at the end of round 2. The bout was more of a street fight than a boxing contest and Gomez was deducted 2 points in round 2 for an attempt G'n'P.
Arthur Villanueva defeats Arturo Badillo in 4 rounds. The first 3 rounds were fantastic but Badillo never managed to recover after being hurt early in round 4.
20-18 Sabillo. Estrada started well in round 2 but was quickly discouraged then out landed, out worked and out skilled.
Sabillo is control, looking a little wild at times but in total control of the bout. Estrada was hurt with a body shot and Sabillo has started to really target the midsection following that. 30-27
